Use this guide to complete your Twilio A2P 10DLC registration. Copy each field exactly as written — these answers are tailored to pass Twilio's compliance review.
In Twilio Console → Messaging → Regulatory Compliance → Business Profiles → Create. Fill in exactly as shown below.
Business Name (Legal)
Business Type
Industry
Business Registration Number (EIN)
Business Address
Website
Business Contact Email
Business Contact Phone
The EIN field above is a placeholder — enter your actual EIN. If you don't have one, apply free at irs.gov/ein. Twilio requires it for LLC registration.
After your Business Profile is approved, go to Messaging → Senders → A2P 10DLC → Register a Brand.
Brand Name
Brand Type
Vertical / Industry
Brand Description
Website
Privacy Policy URL
This is the most important step. Go to Messaging → Senders → A2P 10DLC → Create a Campaign. Use the exact copy below — vague descriptions are the #1 rejection reason.
Use Case
Campaign Description (copy this exactly)
Sample Messages — Twilio requires at least 2
Sample Message 1 — Booking Confirmation
Sample Message 2 — Appointment Reminder
Sample Message 3 — Account Setup (optional but recommended)
Opt-In / Opt-Out Settings
Opt-In Type
Opt-In Description (copy this exactly — updated for resubmission)
Opt-In Keywords
Opt-Out Keywords
Help Keywords
Opt-Out Confirmation Message
Help Response Message
Embedded links: Check "Yes" if asked whether messages contain embedded links. Your messages include account setup links. This is fine — just confirm it honestly.
Verify all of these are true before submitting. Twilio reviewers check each one.
CTA / opt-in could not be verified (your rejection reason)
A dedicated proof page is now live at palmprestigecleaning.com/sms-consent — it shows the exact checkbox as it appears on the booking form, sample messages, and opt-out instructions. Reference this URL in your resubmission opt-in description. Twilio reviewers can visit it directly to verify the CTA.
Vague campaign description
Use the exact campaign description provided in Step 3 — it specifies the opt-in method, message types, and opt-out process explicitly.
Privacy policy doesn't mention SMS
Your privacy policy at /privacy already has a dedicated SMS section. Make sure it's publicly accessible (not behind a login).
No opt-in evidence on website
The booking form at /book has a visible, labeled SMS consent checkbox. The new /sms-consent page also shows the exact opt-in mechanism for Twilio reviewers.
EIN mismatch or missing
Enter your exact EIN as it appears on your IRS SS-4 letter. The business name must match exactly — "Palm Prestige Cleaning LLC" not "Palm Prestige Cleaning".
Sample messages don't include opt-out language
All three sample messages above include "Reply STOP to opt out" — use them verbatim.
